Gone to the Dogs, Inc. offers dog bathing and grooming support to the Animals’ Disaster Team (Cuyahoga County Chapter) for Dogs of Katrina Survivors coming to Cleveland.

Ohio – September 9, 2005 – Gone to the Dogs, Inc offers to give a helping hand with any grooming or bathing needs for dogs
that will arrive in Cleveland with survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Jeff Grano, Co-Owner
and Vice President of Gone to the Dogs, Inc. spoke with Sue Gundich of the
Animals' Disaster Team, Cuyahoga County Chapter. Grano told Gundich on the phone “ we
will certainly help where we can”. “We will offer any survivor or
volunteer who has offered shelter for the dogs a free bath or assist with
a grooming need free of charge.” Grano also said, “
we will put together a flyer and post it up in our Fairview salon to
announce the need for temporary housing for transitional pets and where to
mail donations to the Animals' Disaster Team.” Gone to the Dogs,
also has posted an announcement and electronic flyer stating the immediate
needs of the Animals' Disaster Team on the Gone to the Dogs company

Animals’ Disaster Team. The
Animals'
Disaster Team (ADT)
in Ohio, a non-profit organization, is an all-volunteer program founded in
1992. Under the direction of local emergency rescue authorities and
the American Red Cross, ADT
will respond to provide temporary emergency assistance including housing,
food, and basic first aid for all animals in the community. In
addition, ADT has created an emergency action plan that they are urging
cities within Ohio to adopt. |
